Deck overview

This deck is a Temur Dragon tribal strategy centered on casting Ureni of the Unwritten to cheat massive flying threats directly onto the battlefield. The early game focuses on accelerating mana through ramp spells, mana rocks, and Dragon cost reducers like Urza's Incubator and Dragonspeaker Shaman. By Turn 5, the deck deploys Ureni to dig eight cards deep, immediately putting a game-warping Dragon into play. Powerhouses like Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm, Terror of the Peaks, and Atarka, World Render rapidly compound power, while haste enablers such as Dragon Tempest and Temur Ascendancy allow Ureni to attack immediately and cheat additional Dragons. The deck wins through explosive flying combat damage across two turns. While the list possesses immense board pressure and redundancy among threats, it is vulnerable to well-timed board wipes and counterspells targeting the commander, requiring careful deployment of protective spells like Heroic Intervention to secure victory.
