Liliana's Contract by user4021636

Format: Commander

Commander: Demonlord Belzenlok

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This mono-black deck is helmed by Demonlord Belzenlok and built around a demon tribal/control strategy. The primary game plan is to ramp aggressively using Cabal Coffers, Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx, and other mana doublers, then cast Belzenlok to draw a massive hand of high-CMC demons and spells. The deck wins through large X-spells like Exsanguinate and Torment of Hailfire, backed by combat damage from evasive demons and the alternate win condition Liliana's Contract. Reanimation and recursion (Animate Dead, Patriarch's Bidding, Sheoldred, Whispering One) provide grind value, while a suite of board wipes and edict effects control the table.
