Format: Commander

Commander: Saruman of Many Colors

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Saruman of Many Colors helms an Esper control and spellslinger deck centered on casting two spells each turn to generate overwhelming card and mana advantage. By pairing cheap cantrips, suspend cards, and cost reducers with double-spell triggers, the deck rapidly mills opponents and steals their best instants, sorceries, and enchantments. While Saruman provides steady value and interaction from opposing graveyards, the deck seals victory through explosive haymakers like Breach the Multiverse, swarms of Wraith tokens from Lord of the Nazgul, or an infinite drain loop with Bloodchief Ascension and Mindcrank.
