Deck overview

This mono-black midrange deck is commanded by Gisa, the Hellraiser, leveraging cheap interaction and graveyard exile to commit crimes on every turn. Each crime triggers Gisa to create two 2/2 Zombie Rogue tokens, which receive +1/+1 and menace from her static ability. The deck converts this steady token output into game-winning pressure through combat damage and aristocrat engines. High-synergy sacrifice outlets like Ashnod's Altar and Phyrexian Altar pair with Blood Artist, Marionette Apprentice, and Mirkwood Bats to drain opponents rapidly. Defensive edict engines such as Grave Pact and Dictate of Erebos keep opposing creature boards completely clear. With robust mana acceleration from Cabal Coffers and Crypt Ghast, the deck transitions seamlessly from early board control to an inevitable mid-game finish.
