Deck overview

This deck executes a focused Dimir exile voltron strategy commanded by Umbris, Fear Manifest. The deck accelerates mana in the opening turns while deploying asymmetric exile and mill engines such as Tasha's Hideous Laughter, Leyline of the Void, and Ashiok, Dream Render. These pieces rapidly populate opponents' exile zones with dozens of cards. When Umbris, Fear Manifest enters the battlefield on Turn 5, it triggers its own library exile ability and instantly inflates to massive power and toughness. Supported by unblockable equipment and evasion auras like Brotherhood Regalia, Lightning Greaves, and Aqueous Form, Umbris eliminates opponents one by one via lethal commander damage. Secondary threats like Captain N'ghathrod, Gisa, Glorious Resurrector, and Doomsday Excruciator provide reanimation and late-game inevitability if the primary voltron plan is interrupted.
