Deck overview

This deck is an explosive Gruul exile-matters midrange and combo engine commanded by Faldorn, Dread Wolf Herald. The primary game plan accelerates mana on early turns to deploy Faldorn, then chains impulse-draw spells and discard-to-exile engines to flood the board with 2/2 Wolf tokens while accumulating card advantage. The deck converts these tokens into table kills through burn amplifiers like Purphoros, God of the Forge, Impact Tremors, and Passionate Archaeologist, or via decisive combat overruns with Shared Animosity and Craterhoof Behemoth. Alongside this aggressive token strategy, the list incorporates compact infinite win lines in Food Chain plus Squee, the Immortal for infinite creature mana and wolf creation, as well as the Dualcaster Mage plus Twinflame combo. While resilient against targeted spot removal, the deck relies heavily on creature-based board presence and remains vulnerable to well-timed sweepers or anti-exile stax effects.
