Deck overview

This is a Grixis Pirate tribal deck helmed by Admiral Beckett Brass. The primary plan is to swarm the battlefield with Pirates, generate Treasures through combat triggers, and steal opponents' permanents with Brass's end-step ability once three Pirates connect. The deck closes out through overwhelming combat - amplified by Port Razer's extra combat steps and Angrath's Marauders' damage doubling - or through the alternate Revel in Riches Treasure win. It is a midrange combat strategy with a theft subtheme, leveraging early pressure from Ragavan, Nimble Pilferer and Captain Lannery Storm for ramp and card advantage, with Coastal Piracy and Bident of Thassa converting combat damage into draw. Recursion from Admiral Brass, Unsinkable and Back in Town keeps the board resilient through wipes.
