Serpent Society by user4453529

Format: Commander

Commander: The Serpent Society

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

The Serpent Society leads a midrange Villain deck that combines deathtouch creatures with sacrifice triggers and poison-ward protection. The commander acts as a board-control engine: each deathtouch death forces opponents to sacrifice a nontoken creature, while its Ward cost can put opponents halfway to lethal poison. Secondary plans are Villain-token beatdown through Arnim Zola, Crossbones, and Doctor Doom, and a +1/+1 counter plan built around Doc Samson (the hidden commander) and Powerful Broker. The deck wins by grinding out blockers, powering up haste creatures, and closing with trampling beaters such as M.O.D.O.K. and Savage Land Dinosaur rather than by a single combo.
