Deck overview

This deck is an Azorius tempo and aggro-control strategy led by Denzilore Fatehold. It curves out with low-mana evasive creatures that trigger scry and surveil abilities, such as Faerie Seer, Nightveil Sprite, and Il Mheg Pixie. On turn 4, the deck uses open mana to flash in its commander right before untapping. Once Denzilore Fatehold is on the battlefield, every scry and surveil trigger puts +1/+1 counters onto every creature you control, quickly turning small utility flyers into large airborne threats. The deck breaks parity on symmetric spell limits like Rule of Law and Archon of Emeria by growing its board via combat triggers and flash spells rather than casting multiple spells on its own turn. Backed by cheap counterspells and phasing protection such as Clever Concealment, the deck protects its growing board while racing opponents in the air.
