Black Mage Requiem by LuckyLoreMaster

Format: Commander

Commander: Black Waltz No. 3

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Rakdos spellslinger deck is helmed by Black Waltz No. 3, a 4 mana flyer that deals 2 damage to each opponent whenever you cast a noncreature spell. The primary game plan is to deploy multiple pingers (e.g., Guttersnipe, Firebrand Archer, Erebor Flamesmith) and token makers (Queen Brahne, Cornered by Black Mages) that trigger on noncreature spells, then chain cheap instants, sorceries, and enchantments to grind out incremental damage. The deck also punishes opponents for drawing cards with Underworld Dreams, Sheoldred, the Apocalypse, and Orcish Bowmasters, while symmetrical draw effects like Howling Mine and Teferi s Puzzle Box accelerate the pain. Damage amplifiers such as Ojer Axonil, Deepest Might, Spiked Corridor // Torture Pit, and Artist s Talent turn small pings into lethal bursts. There are no infinite combos; victory comes through sustained pressure and life total denial.
