Deck overview

This deck is a Jund Delirium and discard attrition strategy commanded by Winter, Misanthropic Guide. The primary game plan focuses on quickly stocking the graveyard with four or more distinct card types using early cantrips, fetches, and self-mill cards such as Faithless Looting and Grisly Salvage. Once Delirium is online, Winter provides a steady stream of extra cards while severely capping opponents' maximum hand sizes at cleanup. The deck converts this resource disparity into victory through two synergistic vectors: deploying massive scaling Lhurgoyfs like Polygoyf, Pyrogoyf, and Barrowgoyf to overrun the board with combat damage, and punishing opponents for the forced card draw via Sheoldred, the Apocalypse, Fate Unraveler, and Underworld Dreams. While the deck generates immense card flow and formidable board presence, its reliance on combat damage over multiple turn cycles and an absence of stack interaction leave it exposed to fast combo decks and well-timed sweepers.
