Deck overview

This deck leverages Jace, Multiverse Architect as a reliable 5-color commander and polymorph engine. The primary gameplan curves early token producers like Bitterblossom and Skrelv's Hive into a Turn 4 Jace, immediately using his −3 loyalty ability to cheat towering threats or powerful planeswalkers into play. Cheated bombs like Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur, Void Winnower, and Archon of Cruelty cripple opposing resources and restrict spellcasting, while evasive beaters like Utvara Hellkite and Balefire Dragon close out the game through overwhelming combat damage. A dense package of 2-CMC mana rocks ensures consistent color fixing and rapid deployment. Supporting planeswalkers and proliferate engines (Ichormoon Gauntlet, Inexorable Tide) provide continuous card flow and defensive utility, making the board resilient to attrition while maintaining relentless pressure.
