Deck overview

Doctor Doom, King of Latveria leads a Grixis Villain-tribal value deck. The primary plan is to chain Villain creatures, use the commander's combat connive to filter and grow them, and convert every discarded land into a table-wide drain. The Squadron Sinister, Baron Strucker, and Iron Monger turn a wide board into flying, hasty attackers; a secondary engine uses discard payoffs such as Currency Converter, Moonstone, and Mayhem, plus suspend/exile effects from Kang Prime and Doom's Time Platform, to keep generating cards and free spells. The commander is an enabler rather than an essential combo piece, so the deck still functions-though more slowly-if Doctor Doom is kept off the battlefield.
