Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Mardu aggro-reanimator build engineered around Neriv, Heart of the Storm. Neriv doubles all damage dealt by creatures that entered the battlefield this turn, turning transient 'Ball Lightning' style Elementals into devastating offensive threats. The deck accelerates on Turns 1 and 2 using low-curve mana rocks and specialized tribal dorks like Smokebraider and Flamebraider to cast Neriv on Turn 3. Starting on Turn 4, the deck deploys or reanimates high-power haste Elementals like Ball Lightning, Lightning Skelemental, and Spark Trooper, hitting for 12 to 14 trample damage per swing. As these creatures auto-sacrifice at the end of turn, engines like Skullclamp, Grim Haruspex, and Thunderkin Awakener convert their deaths into continuous card advantage and repeatable recursion.
