Keeper of the Gates! by crimsonash6

Format: Commander

Commander: Niv-Mizzet Reborn

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a five-color midrange value deck helmed by Niv-Mizzet Reborn, leveraging its ETB to dig the top ten cards for one card of each two-color pair and refill the hand with multicolored spells. The 99 blends a dense Gates package for fixing and incremental mana (Baldur's Gate, Gond Gate, Heap Gate, Circuitous Route) with gold-standard multicolored interaction, blink engines, and midrange threats. Primary wins come from combat pressure via General Ferrous Rokiric Golem tokens, Niv-Mizzet, Guildpact combat triggers, and anthems like Knight of New Alara and Mirari's Wake, backed by a large Debt to the Deathless drain. Secondary value loops use Brago, King Eternal, Soulherder, and Nahiri's Resolve to re-trigger ETBs while Niv-Mizzet, Supreme jump-starts spent multicolored instants and sorceries. The deck plays a controlling, grindy game that out-resources the table rather than racing.
