Eat a Smaug covered... by Ulty

Format: Commander

Commander: Smaug the Impenetrable

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Smaug the Impenetrable leads a Rakdos treasure engine that turns noncombat damage into armies of tokens. The primary plan is to cast Smaug ahead of curve using rituals and treasure producers, then trigger its damage trigger with Chain Lightning or Pestilence to create unbounded Treasure. Those Treasures feed pinger payoffs like Mirkwood Bats, Reckless Fireweaver, and X-spell finishers, and also enable artifact-count alternate wins. The deck carries a compact commander-independent kill in Chain of Smog with Professor Onyx. Heavy tutoring, looting, and graveyard recursion make the lines findable and recoverable; the main risk is stalling on mana or losing Smaug to exile before the loop starts.
