Deck overview

This Mardu deck utilizes Edgar Markov to deploy a hyper-efficient aggressive swarm combined with resilient aristocrats drain and compact combo finishes. From the opening turns, Edgar's Eminence ability generates free 1/1 Vampire tokens whenever a Vampire spell is cast, creating a wide board presence with zero mana investment beyond standard creature deployment. The deck quickly amplifies these tokens through potent lords, anthems like Shared Animosity, and counters via Cordial Vampire. Combat damage is heavily augmented by passive life-drain triggers from Blood Artist, Cruel Celebrant, and Sanctum Seeker, applying relentless pressure to all three opponents simultaneously. In addition to overwhelming combat assaults, the list packs fast mana rituals and the game-ending infinite drain loop of Exquisite Blood paired with Sanguine Bond or Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose, allowing it to close games out of nowhere if the board is stalled.
