Deck overview

This deck merges Grixis control elements with a resilient Dragon tribal beatdown strategy, commanded by Nicol Bolas, the Ravager. The early game focuses on developing mana through rocks and tribal cost reducers like Dragonspeaker Shaman and Sarkhan, Fireblood while disrupting opponents with efficient removal and counterspells. In the mid game, the deck deploys Nicol Bolas, the Ravager to deplete opposing hands before landing dominant Dragon payoffs such as Lathliss, Dragon Queen, Terror of the Peaks, and Scourge of Valkas. Asymmetric board wipes like Crux of Fate clear opposing boards while preserving your aerial armada. In the late game, high-impact spells such as Utvara Hellkite, Cruel Ultimatum, and Torment of Hailfire close out the table. The list features extensive recursion to rebuild quickly after sweepers, ensuring sustained pressure across full game rotations.
