Deck overview

This Orzhov deck leverages the unique synergy between Lulu, Loyal Hollyphant and Cultist of the Absolute. Cultist turns Lulu into a formidable 6/5 flying, deathtouch attacker with built-in ward protection, while demanding a creature sacrifice every upkeep. That sacrifice satisfies Lulu's condition, causing her end-step trigger to place +1/+1 counters on all tapped attackers and untap them. This creates a powerful vigilance and deathtouch wall that easily defends the Monarch introduced by the deck's Court enchantments. The wider list supports this engine with resilient token generators, aristocrat drain effects, and +1/+1 counter payoffs. While lacking compact infinite combos and fast mana, the deck establishes dominant board control and steady card flow, closing games through lethal commander combat and sudden bursts of drain damage.
