Deck overview

This Simic deck focuses on land ramp, landfall triggers, and overwhelming token swarms. Led by Tam, Observant Sequencer, the deck uses land drops to repeatedly cast Deep Sight from the command zone, ensuring steady card draw and life gain while developing its mana base. The deck ramps through cards like Cultivate, Dryad of the Ilysian Grove, and Ramunap Excavator, quickly building toward 7 to 8 mana by Turn 6. It closes games by deploying massive token generators like Avenger of Zendikar, Scute Swarm, and Rampaging Baloths, or explosive spells like Through the Forest Gate and Apex Devastator. The deck also features a land-based combo in Dark Depths and Thespian's Stage to summon a 20/20 Marit Lage. While the deck boasts high mana velocity and resilient backup engines, its reliance on summoning-sick creature tokens makes it vulnerable to mass board wipes.
