Deck overview

This deck is a competitive mono-blue combo list commanded by Orvar, the All-Form. It leverages Orvar's triggered ability to duplicate permanents whenever an instant or sorcery targets them. Using cheap targeting spells and buyback cards like Whim of Volrath and Clockspinning, the deck rapidly ramps by copying lands, artifacts, and value creatures. Once an engine piece such as Coveted Jewel or Sapphire Medallion is active, Orvar generates infinite mana and draws the library, immediately closing the game with Thassa's Oracle or lethal forced draws through Blue Sun's Zenith. The deck pairs this proactive speed with a premium interaction suite of free countermagic, Cursed Totem, and asymmetric Narset, Parter of Veils wheel locks, allowing it to navigate competitive pods with exceptional resilience and control.
