Commander: Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord is the engine and finisher of this Golgari graveyard deck. The primary plan is to self-mill aggressively, build a large graveyard, then reanimate high-power threats and sacrifice them to Jarad to drain all opponents. Secondary paths use Altar of Dementia to mill opponents or a midrange combat beatdown plan with Lord of Extinction and Yargle and Multani after Living Death. Titania, Voice of Gaea and Argoth form an incidental meld subtheme, but the deck is not built around it. With almost no counterspells and heavy graveyard dependence, the deck relies on density of mill and recursion rather than speed.
