Deck overview

Betor, Ancestor's Voice leads an Abzan midrange deck built around life manipulation, self-mill, and reanimation. The primary strategy uses life payments from cards like Doom Whisperer, Sylvan Library, and K'rrik to trigger Betor's end step reanimation ability, cheating massive threats directly from the graveyard. Lifelink creatures and swap effects like Evra, Halcyon Witness surge your life total to trigger Betor's counter distribution and enable alternate win conditions such as Felidar Sovereign, Test of Endurance, or Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose. Secondary paths include Liliana's Contract Demon tribal lines, combat damage with flying threats, and mass reanimation via Eerie Ultimatum.
