Deck overview

This Gruul deck is built around Ruby, Daring Tracker to guarantee a 2-mana ramp dork in the command zone. The 99-card deck features a strict curve design: every nonland card costs 4 or more mana. This ensures that any 5-drop cascade spell or discover trigger is guaranteed to hit a 4-CMC double-ramp spell or a key engine like Monstrous Vortex or Goreclaw, Terror of Qal Sisma. The deck ramps explosively from 2 to 4 mana, then from 4 to 7+ mana, enabling early deployment of massive bombs such as Apex Devastator, Omnath, Locus of Rage, and Raph & Mikey, Troublemakers. While it lacks cheap instant-speed removal and protection, its overwhelming creature density and cascade card advantage allow it to overpower opponents through relentless combat pressure.
