Deck overview

Loki, the Deceiver leads a Grixis Villain-tribal deck that blends combat aggression, token cloning, and connive mechanics. The core strategy deploys low-cost Villains on early turns, casts Loki on Turn 4, and immediately attacks to create attacking copies of your most impactful creatures. Each Villain that connects with an opponent draws a card, refilling your hand while connive triggers from Leader, Super-Genius and Doctor Doom, King of Latveria sculpt your draws and grow your creatures with +1/+1 counters. Late-game payoffs such as The Squadron Sinister, Mysterio, Master of Illusion, and Iron Monger, Sadistic Tycoon scale the board into an evasive army that finishes opponents by Turn 7. The deck also features clever interactions, including using Sundial of the Infinite to end the turn and permanently keep Loki's temporary token copies.
