Deck overview

Cloud, Ex-SOLDIER is a Naya Equipment deck built around suiting up its commander with haste, drawing cards off every equipped attacker, and converting power-7 attacks into Treasure. The primary win is a multi-combat chain: equip Cloud with a large piece like Colossus Hammer or Buster Sword, generate Treasures with The Reaver Cleaver, and chain Aggravated Assault, Genji Glove, and Tifa, Martial Artist into commander-damage eliminations. Secondary lines include Vincent, Vengeful Atoner spreading damage across the table and Sephiroth, Fallen Hero turning all modified creatures into 7/5s. The 99 also contains Cloud, Midgar Mercenary, a hidden commander that doubles Equipment and Cloud triggers while tutoring an Equipment on entry.
