Deck overview

This deck is a Boros forced-combat control deck helmed by Baeloth Barrityl, Entertainer paired with the Background Noble Heritage. The primary game plan revolves around casting Noble Heritage on Turn 2 and deploying Baeloth on Turn 5. Upon entering, Noble Heritage immediately places two +1/+1 counters on Baeloth, turning him into a 4/7 creature and instantly goading all opposing creatures with power 3 or less. As the table takes mandatory attacks against one another, Baeloth generates Treasure tokens whenever goaded creatures perish. Noble Heritage continuously buffs Baeloth by two counters every upkeep, expanding the goad threshold to power 5 and beyond while providing the pilot protection from opponents who accept counters. Pillowfort pieces like Ghostly Prison and Windborn Muse ensure total defense, while damage amplifiers like Gisela, Blade of Goldnight and Death Kiss accelerate opponent elimination, setting up a clean victory via combat or massive Banefire burn on Turn 8.
