Deck overview

This deck is a five-color control and cheat-midrange strategy commanded by Jace, Multiverse Architect. The game plan revolves around accelerating mana in the early turns using an efficient 1-2 CMC ramp suite, producing disposable creature or planeswalker tokens, and casting Jace on Turn 4. Jace immediately uses his -3 ability to polymorph small tokens into game-dominating threats like Archon of Cruelty, Archfiend of Despair, Darksteel Angel, or Nicol Bolas, Dragon-God. Supporting planeswalkers such as Teferi, Hero of Dominaria and The Eternal Wanderer provide continuous card advantage and board control, while proliferate engines like Tekuthal, Inquiry Dominus, Flux Channeler, and Ichormoon Gauntlet rapidly tick loyalty counters toward game-ending ultimates. The deck closes games around Turn 7 through flying combat damage magnified by Archfiend of Despair's life loss doubling. A rich interaction package ensures stability against opposing aggression.
