Deck overview

This deck is a mono-blue control and spellslinger strategy commanded by Eluge, the Shoreless Sea. The primary objective is to deploy Eluge on Turn 4 to begin accumulating flood counters on lands through enter-the-battlefield and attack triggers. Each counter discounts the first instant or sorcery cast each turn by {U} or {1}, effectively generating massive mana velocity on both the pilot's turn and opponents' turns. This discount fuels explosive high-cost card-drawing spells such as Flow of Ideas, Flow of Knowledge, and Aminatou's Augury. The deck leverages this immense card flow to assemble win conditions such as Psychosis Crawler, which burns all opponents to zero during mass draw sequences, or Laboratory Maniac alongside an accelerated Enter the Infinite. Supporting tokens from Talrand, Sky Summoner and Chrome Host Seedshark provide defensive blocking and secondary combat pressure, while counterspells and bounce effects protect the setup.
