Deck overview

This deck is a mono-blue spellslinger combo build helmed by Orvar, the All-Form. The strategy revolves around casting low-mana instants and sorceries that target your own permanents, triggering Orvar to create token copies of them. By targeting mana-positive permanents like Peregrine Drake, Coveted Jewel, or Cloudpost with buyback spells like Whim of Volrath and Clockspinning, the deck generates infinite mana and infinite card draw in a single turn. It then closes the game by drawing the entire library into Laboratory Maniac, bouncing all opposing boards with Venser, Shaper Savant, or manifesting and exiling all opponent libraries with Reality Shift and Archaeomancer. Low-cost counterspells, land-based protection via Swarmyard, and efficient bounce spells maintain board stability until the combo executes.
