Deck overview

This five-color Assassin tribal deck is led by Ezio Auditore da Firenze, who dramatically accelerates the deployment of expensive Assassins by giving them a freerunning cost of {B}{B} whenever combat damage is dealt. The game plan focuses on establishing early evasive board presence with menace and deathtouch attackers, utilizing cost reduction to deploy high-impact historic legends like Edward Kenway, Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad, and Ezio, Blade of Vengeance. Card draw engines trigger on combat connections to maintain hand size while chipping away at opposing life totals. Once an opponent falls to 10 or less life, Ezio threatens an instant game-loss trigger for {W}{U}{B}{R}{G}, while Ramses, Assassin Lord can turn a single player elimination into an immediate table victory. Targeted removal spells such as Assassin's Trophy and Swords to Plowshares clear critical blockers and opposing threats, while Desynchronization provides a powerful asymmetric reset to clear non-historic boards.
