Deck overview

This Mono-White deck is commanded by Rune-Tail, Kitsune Ascendant // Rune-Tail's Essence, designed to exploit its immediate transformation at starting life totals into an asymmetrical damage-prevention enchantment. By making all friendly creatures impervious to damage, the deck dominates combat, renders damage-based board wipes completely one-sided, and creates invulnerability locks when combined with cards like Pariah and With Great Power . . .. The strategy pairs this resilient defensive core with scaling lifegain payoffs, token swarm engines like Adeline, Resplendent Cathar and Myrel, Shield of Argive, and decisive win conditions including Felidar Sovereign, Aetherflux Reservoir, and the infinite damage combo of Heliod, Sun-Crowned and Walking Ballista. While vulnerable to mass exile sweepers and non-damage removal, the deck boasts rapid commander assembly and resilient board development.
