Deck overview

This mono-red deck combines classic Goblin token swarms with forced combat manipulation. Led by Ib Halfheart, Goblin Tactician, the deck weaponizes small 1/1 Goblin tokens by turning them into four-damage landmines whenever they become blocked. Cards like Invasion Plans, Grand Melee, and Nemesis Mask force opposing creatures into unfavorable blocks, clearing opposing boards through combat attrition. The deck accelerates wide board development using token makers like Dragon Fodder, Hordeling Outburst, and Krenko, Mob Boss, then converts those numbers into massive damage with Impact Tremors, General Kreat, the Boltbringer, Torbran, Thane of Red Fell, and City on Fire. When pressed for lethal damage or recovery, Ib can sacrifice basic Mountains to deploy instant armies. While vulnerable to sweepers and lacking stack interaction, the deck delivers aggressive pressure and unique board control.
