Deck overview

This deck executes a mono-black Voltron control strategy led by Vincent Valentine // Galian Beast. It controls the battlefield by casting efficient removal spells and edict creatures to clear opposing threats. Every opposing creature death fuels Vincent with +1/+1 counters equal to that creature's power. Once charged, Vincent attacks and transforms into Galian Beast, gaining trample and lifelink to push lethal commander damage while buffering your life total. Card draw engines like Morbid Opportunist and Phyrexian Arena replenish your hand, while recursion tools recover fallen utility creatures. The deck steadily grinds down opposing boards and closes the game across consecutive combat turns.
