Deck overview

This is a Selesnya lifegain-and-populate deck helmed by Trostani, Selesnya's Voice, built to convert life gain into a massive creature board. Early life-gainers like Soul Warden, Suture Priest, and Prosperous Innkeeper feed Trostani's own ETB trigger, while populate effects (Growing Ranks, Song of the Worldsoul, Rootborn Defenses) and token doublers like Rhys the Redeemed and Bramble Sovereign explode the board. The deck has three real finish paths: a life-total swing with Invincible Hymn into Storm Herd, a burst of spells into Aetherflux Reservoir, and a wide trampling attack fueled by Ghalta and Mavren or Archangel of Thune counters. Halo Fountain provides a grind-out alternate win. This is a midrange battlecruiser that wants to survive the early game, compound life into momentum, and drown opponents in tokens and lifegain payoffs.
