Deck overview

This deck is a focused mono-green stompy list piloted by Mutagen Man, Living Ooze. The primary game plan revolves around leveraging early ramp to deploy the commander with multiple Mutagen tokens, which activate for zero mana thanks to Mutagen Man's cost-reduction ability. This immediately pumps creatures into formidable threats. The deck amplifies counter placement through cards like Hardened Scales and Branching Evolution, transitioning quickly into an evasive combat force with tramplers like Ghalta the Unstoppable and Vigor. Creature tutors such as Green Sun's Zenith and Chord of Calling ensure consistent access to utility creatures and backup mana engines. While the deck focuses heavily on overwhelming combat damage supported by Triumph of the Hordes, it also features an infinite mana combo via Doc Samson, Super Psychiatrist and Umbral Mantle. The deck trades proactive disruption for explosive board presence, relying on instant-speed protection like Heroic Intervention to preserve its lethal attacks.
