Format: Commander

Commander: Vivi Ornitier

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Vivi Ornitier leads an Izzet spellslinger deck that uses its mana ability and combat damage triggers to power storm and magecraft. The primary plan is to storm out with Grapeshot or Brain Freeze, while a secondary line uses Niv-Mizzet, Parun with Tandem Lookout or Niv-Mizzet, Visionary for infinite damage. Vivi provides a scaling mana engine and incidental damage, and the deck is built to cast many noncreature spells per turn, leveraging cost reducers and rituals. The deck is commander-optional, with multiple independent win conditions and strong stack interaction.
