Deck overview

This deck is a high-tempo Boros combat strategy led by Iroas, God of Victory. The primary game plan revolves around deploying aggressive, low-mana token generators such as Adeline, Resplendent Cathar, Brimaz, King of Oreskos, and Skyknight Vanguard. Once Iroas enters the battlefield, attacking creatures become immune to combat damage and gain menace, allowing the deck to attack into any defensive board without risking creature loss. The deck accelerates its damage output through damage doublers like Blade Historian and True Conviction, anthem effects like Cathars' Crusade, and extra combat steps from Overpowering Attack and Great Train Heist. While the deck is susceptible to mass exile sweepers and relies on combat steps to win, it compensates with efficient spot removal, turn-lockout cards like Myrel, Shield of Argive, and flexible protection fetchable through Sunforger.
