Format: Commander

Commander: Squall, SeeD Mercenary

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Squall, SeeD Mercenary leads an aggressive Orzhov Voltron and sacrifice hybrid deck. The primary game plan centers on Squalls Rough Divide ability, which grants double strike whenever a creature attacks alone. Because Squall triggers on dealing combat damage to a player, double strike yields two recursion triggers per combat to return low-cost permanents directly to the battlefield. The deck converts this value into victory by controlling opponent boards with looping edict creatures like Plaguecrafter and Fleshbag Marauder, granting Squall evasion and protection through equipment like Brotherhood Regalia, and swiftly finishing opponents with 21 lethal commander damage.
