Down with the thiccness by Setite

Format: Commander

Commander: Betor, Kin to All

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Betor, Kin to All is an Abzan toughness-matters commander with a slow, board-centric game plan. It uses high-toughness walls and plants to let Betor draw cards, untap, and eventually halve each opponent's life at 40 total toughness. Doran, Besieged by Time is the hidden commander for the combat backup, assisted by Felothar the Steadfast and Assault Formation. The primary kill combines Betor's end-step drain with Wound Reflection; repeated halving plus toughness combat is the secondary line. Tutors such as Defense of the Heart, Sylvan Tutor, and Insidious Dreams assemble the combo, while Athreos, Shroud-Veiled and Liesa, Forgotten Archangel provide resilience. No double-faced commander is present.
