Deck overview

This mono-red Commander deck is a Dragon tribal stompy and burn engine commanded by Lathliss, Dragon Queen. The primary strategy focuses on deploying cost reducers and mana rocks during the opening turns, casting Lathliss on Turn 4 or 5, and immediately following up with high-impact Dragons to trigger wide 5/5 flyer generation. Enchantments and creatures such as Dragon Tempest, Terror of the Peaks, and Scourge of Valkas convert every Dragon entering the battlefield into direct damage, allowing the deck to control the board while setting a rapid clock. Because the deck packs standalone bombs like Utvara Hellkite and Fiery Emancipation, it functions well even if Lathliss is removed. However, the deck lacks instant-speed interaction and defensive countermagic, making it vulnerable to well-timed sweepers and combo decks.
