Deck overview

This deck is a Jund forced-combat midrange strategy led by Thantis, the Warweaver. It aims to accelerate mana in the opening turns, deploy persistent goad and forced-attack engines, and force opponents into mutual attrition. By denying opponents the ability to hold back blockers, the deck clears paths for massive combat swings. Cards like War's Toll, Kardur, Doomscourge, and Alexios, Deimos of Kosmos turn opposing creatures against one another while generating steady card advantage through Karazikar, the Eye Tyrant and Deathreap Ritual. The deck closes games using sudden damage multipliers like Xenagos, God of Revels, Fiery Emancipation, Berserk, or a lethal Chandra's Ignition. Robust spot removal and low-cost protection spells keep the engine running smoothly.
