Deck overview

This deck combines Grixis Wizard tribal synergies with a high-impact spellslinger package led by Jeleva, Nephalia's Scourge. The primary game plan focuses on casting Jeleva early, granting her haste through equipment like Swiftfoot Boots or Clout of the Dominus, and attacking to cast expensive, game-altering spells for free from exile. Spells like Aminatou's Augury, Cruel Ultimatum, Clone Legion, and Improvisation Capstone generate overwhelming card and mana advantages. In parallel, a dense core of synergistic Wizards—amplified by trigger doublers such as Harmonic Prodigy, Naban, Dean of Iteration, and Panharmonicon—provides steady card draw, token armies with Talrand, Sky Summoner, and asymmetric board wipes via Raise the Palisade and Cyclone Summoner. The deck closes games around Turn 8 through large evasive attacks, life-drain triggers from Dire Fleet Ravager and Kefka, Dancing Mad, and continuous spell recursion.
