Deck overview

This Dimir deck blends aggressive Rogue tribal tempo with a lethal two-card combo finish. Commanded by Anowon, the Ruin Thief, the strategy opens by deploying low-cost, unblockable Rogues like Slither Blade and Triton Shorestalker to apply early combat pressure, mill opposing libraries, and draw cards. High-efficiency fast mana (Chrome Mox, Mox Diamond, Sol Ring, Dark Ritual) accelerates development, while premium black tutors (Demonic Tutor, Diabolic Intent, Grim Tutor) locate the primary win condition: Bloodchief Ascension paired with Mindcrank. As evasive attackers connect, Bloodchief Ascension accumulates quest counters. Once fully charged, any life loss or milled card triggers an infinite damage and mill loop that eliminates all opponents in a single turn. The deck shields this combo with free counterspells like Fierce Guardianship and Force of Will, while disruptive stax creatures like Opposition Agent and Notion Thief heavily restrict opposing game plans.
