Deck overview

This deck is an Esper control and synergy build centered on Yennett, Cryptic Sovereign. The primary strategy focuses on utilizing cheap topdeck filtering—such as Sensei's Divining Top, Brainstorm, Ponder, and Aminatou, the Fateshifter—to arrange devastating odd-mana spells on top of the library. Once Yennett attacks on turn 5, it cheats massive game-warping bombs into play for free, including Void Winnower, Breach the Multiverse, and Toxrill, the Corrosive. The deck controls opposing battlefields through targeted exile effects, asymmetric sweepers like Extinction Event, and disruptive floodgates like Fatespinner. Winning the game relies on overwhelming the table with large evasive creatures and reanimated threats across turns 6 to 8.
