Deck overview

This deck is an Orzhov Angel tribal midrange deck commanded by Shadowheart, Dark Justiciar and the Noble Heritage Background. The primary strategy revolves around developing an evasive board of Angels, enhancing their power with +1/+1 counters and anthems, and leveraging Shadowheart as a burst card draw engine. Noble Heritage provides consistent stat growth and defensive protection by placing +1/+1 counters on your creatures each turn. When a creature reaches high power, Shadowheart can sacrifice it to draw a massive hand of cards, ensuring continuous replenishment. The deck leverages lifegain payoffs like Righteous Valkyrie, Bishop of Wings, and Lyra Dawnbringer to stabilize life totals and trigger team-wide power buffs. Win conditions center on overwhelming aerial combat amplified by Coat of Arms, Angelic Field Marshal, and high-impact reanimation from Emeria Shepherd and Victimize. While vulnerable to exile board wipes, the deck offers consistent card flow, robust spot removal, and heavy aerial pressure.
