Deck overview

This deck is a mono-red Dragon tribal stompy strategy led by Lathliss, Dragon Queen. The primary plan focuses on developing mana velocity through early artifact ramp and tribal cost reducers such as Dragonspeaker Shaman and Dragonlord's Servant. This acceleration enables a Turn 4 or 5 deployment of Lathliss, establishing a token-multiplying engine. On subsequent turns, casting heavy Dragon threats triggers Lathliss to flood the battlefield with 5/5 flying Dragon tokens while triggering damage engines like Dragon Tempest and Scourge of Valkas. The deck finishes games through overwhelming aerial combat, amplified by mass double strike from Terror of Mount Velus and token generation from Utvara Hellkite. While the deck possesses strong board-clearing capabilities using asymmetric red sweepers like Breath Weapon and Blasphemous Act, it remains vulnerable to sweepers and targeted removal due to sparse defensive counter-magic and low stack interaction.
