Deck overview

This deck is a Temur Dragon tribal stompy strategy built around its commander, Ureni of the Unwritten. The game plan accelerates through 1-2 CMC ramp spells and cost reducers to cast Ureni on Turn 5. Upon entering the battlefield and on every attack, Ureni digs eight cards deep to cheat massive Dragon threats into play for free. With 24 Dragons in the deck, Ureni hits reliably, deploying game-ending permanents such as Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm, Terror of the Peaks, and Atarka, World Render. Haste enablers like Temur Ascendancy and Dragon Tempest allow immediate attacks, doubling the cheat triggers and unleashing lethal combat damage. The deck relies on standalone high-power fliers to maintain pressure if Ureni is answered, though its high mana curve and light countermagic suite leave it vulnerable to well-timed sweepers.
