Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis midrange strategy built around Obeka, Brute Chronologist. The central game plan exploits temporary token and reanimation effects that balance their high power with 'sacrifice or exile at beginning of the next end step' triggers. By placing those delayed triggers on the stack and tapping Obeka, the turn ends immediately, exiling the stack and making those temporary creatures permanent. The deck backs up this value engine with myriad creatures like Auton Soldier and Blade of Selves, high-impact threats like Archon of Cruelty, and an untutored two-card infinite combo between Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker and Combat Celebrant. While mana acceleration and interaction are grounded at functional mid-power baselines, the deck generates compounding advantages once its commander and token engines become established.
