New Untitled Deck by Ovy

Format: Commander

Commander: Gandalf the Grey

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Gandalf the Grey turns each instant and sorcery into extra damage, a copy, or vital mana via untap, so the deck is built to keep casting spells. The main plan is a spellslinger storm shell: establish Thousand-Year Storm and Fiery Emancipation, chain cheap any-target burn, and finish with Grapeshot. The functional center is that enchantment pair; there is no hidden commander. A secondary path uses The Dawning Archaic to keep recasting instants and sorceries from the graveyard, while counters and bounce protect Gandalf. Without Gandalf the deck still has a long game, but it loses the cheap copy/damage/untap modes and is far less explosive.
